Charles Yorke Rio, Wells
A sleek, handle free bespoke range of furniture, the Rio kitchen blends modernity with a professional chef’s new venture. Our brief was to create a stunning, show stopping kitchen to meet the demands of a smart 20 cover restaurant with a list of commercial and domestic appliances to factor into the space
The main island provides a serious workstation for prepping, plating food and holding demonstrations when the client runs a series of tailor-made cookery schools. Raised seating to one side of the island is a great spot for small social gatherings where family and friends can chat and relax, drink wine and share fabulous food together.
The striking durable granite worktop withstands heat and is ideal for rolling pasta and pastry. Everything is near to hand with good ergonomics to minimise movement and make the space work effectively with clearly defined zones. We highly recommend a visit to 7B in St Thomas Street, Wells for classic French dining in Adam and Martine’s home.
Testimony
‘My favourite part of the kitchen is the central Island and bar. We spend a lot of time having a drink and something to eat there. The granite work surface is also amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Spillers’. Mr Fellows

Customer Thoughts
What were the main reasons for choosing to work with us on this occasion?
‘I chose to use Spillers because the range and choice of different brands and kitchen designs was so good. The showroom was also a big plus. It makes such a difference to be able to see the kitchen and appliances in situe.’
How would you describe your experience with the team who looked after you, particularly the designer.
‘My experience with the Spillers team was great from start to finish. As it was a slightly different project including both domestic and commercial aspects it was perfect working with Ruth as she got the project straight away and was really excited by it.’
Did the designer suggest anything you hadn’t heard of before, and if so what?
‘The granite and the mixture and marriage of this with all the stainless steel elements was the biggest part for me.’
Most important question of all, can you sum up your overall experience with Spillers and your designer?
‘The overall experience with Spillers was great from start to finish. One of the major bonuses was Tristan for the installation. He did above and beyond and really brought everything together perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Spillers.’
